Rolling Bay Winery's current building is a custom-built structure nestled on a hillside overlooking Murden Cove. The rock wall fronting the winery was handmade by Angela and Dr. Piero Sandri and frames antique doors from a Mongolian monastery. Many visitors use the picturesque setting for informal portraits commemorating their tour of the island. Our cozy Tasting Bar is usually open by appointment. Call 206-419-3355, or check our Events page for future listings.
The Tasting Room doubles as our fermentation room and therefore is closed during crush. Dates vary depending on the grapes, but usually around late September through mid-October. Feel free to visit then... but be prepared to be put to work!
Over twenty French oak barrels line a side wall, gently aging our finely crafted wines. You may even experience a special barrel tasting at our working winery, during some spring and summer tastings.
